Dundee United supporters responded in great faith to our Season Ticket campaign, with numbers currently sitting over 5,000!
All of these season tickets were purchased at prices that included an option for a 10% rebate on the amount they paid for their season ticket. This was caveated upon the club playing cinch Championship football in 23/24.
The administration process of setting up this rebate scheme has proven a robust task and this will continue; staff are working through both the processing of season cards and rebate vouchers.
We can now explain the options available to all season ticket holders regarding this rebate scheme. Season ticket holders can:
· Use the rebate as a credit towards your 2024/25 season ticket. (Please note you will need still to apply for a voucher within the timeframe but will not be able to redeem it until March 2024 when the new season tickets go on sale).
· Use the rebate in our retail store on full-price items. (Please note this will be in-store only, is non-refundable and can only be used once. No change can be given).
· Use the rebate on full-price hospitality at Tannadice Park during the 23/24 season. Supporters who chose this option via the form will be contacted by the club direct in the first instance after the August 1 deadline and ahead of the September 1 -- December 31 opportunity period.
· Donate your rebate back to the Club.
Donating Back To The Club
We have received numerous emails from supporters asking if it would be possible to donate their rebate and this is something we have now incorporated into the process.
As a club, we do not wish to pressure any supporter into donating their rebate, all supporters will be able to claim their rebate and use in our retail store, hospitality or towards their 2024/25 season ticket. Should any supporter wish to donate their rebate this is at their discretion and there will be a process in place to do so.
As a small token of the club’s appreciation, any supporter who gives up their rebate will have their name added to our fans' wall display in our players’ tunnel – directly opposite the home dressing room for the 2023/24 season. This will be installed ahead of the first home league fixture and will be the first sight for any United player walking out of the tunnel.
Regardless of your decision, we would appreciate if all supporters fill out the form stating if they would like to receive a rebate or donate the monies to the club. This will allow staff to begin the process of administration required to issue the vouchers.
All forms must be completed by 5pm, Tuesday 1 August.

Action Required
- Complete the form via the attached link before August 1, 2023.
- Select if you would like to receive a rebate or donate to the club and then complete your details.
- The Ticket Office will then create your voucher, ready for collection from September 1st, 2023.
- Vouchers can be used against all full-priced items in retail and hospitality up to and including December 31, 2023 and 2024/25 season tickets during the Loyalty period.
Vouchers can be used once and are non-refundable. No change will be given.
Chief Executive Luigi Capuano said: "It is clear that there is a significant financial impact to playing in the Championship, but we stand by our decision in offering our fans a rebate option when there was uncertainty as to where we would be playing this season.
"We are determined to get back into the Premiership at the first time of asking, but it will take a collective effort from everyone. We have a very loyal fanbase here at Dundee United and have already been informed by a number of supporters that they intend to donate back the rebate amount.
"The number of season tickets sold shows how much this club means to the fans, and that support will prove pivotal many times over this coming campaign, and we appreciate everyone’s continued patience."
Season Tickets are available to purchase at full price now, and anyone buying one before the August 1, 2023 cut-off date will receive the rebate option alongside their seat inside Tannadice for all home league games. Please be aware any purchases after this period cannot be included in the fans wall display.
It is expected that season cards for the 23/24 season will be available for collection in early August ahead of our first home game.
