FIVE ADDITIONS TO OUR U18s SQUAD

20th June 2023

Dundee United are pleased to announce a number of new additions to the Young Terrors.

Lewis Haldane

A member of our pre-academy since he was seven years old, Lewis officially signed for the club in 2016. A calm goalkeeper who offers confidence to his defensive line, Lewis has featured for both the U16s and U18s this season. The young shot-stopper also graduated from the Scottish FA Performance School programme at St John’s RC High School.

Scott Constable

Scott joined the academy in 2016, signing from Fairmuir Boys Club at just nine years old. He also featured in the Dundee United FC J League. Dominant, powerful and versatile - the youngster can play in a number of positions, right back centre back or central defending midfielder.

Ollie Simpson

Energetic and combative, Ollie has been a regular at left-back in his debut season for the Young Terrors. He joined United in 2020 from Gairdoch United and has since shown his attacking mentality and desire to compete.

Zeke Cameron

Attacking midfielder Zeke joined the academy from Dundee West in 2022. His competitive edge and aggressive nature have led to him impressing in the U18s squad during the latter part of the season despite playing a year above his own age group.

Owen Stirton

Having been with the pre-academy since he was seven years old, Owen signed his first deal at United back in 2016. The tall yet technically gifted frontman enjoyed a rich vein of form with the Young Terrors towards the end of the 2022/23 season. Owen, 16, is one of the graduates of Baldragon, our flagship performance school programme that started back in 2020.
