JIM GOODWIN RECEIVES THIRD GLEN'S VODKA MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD OF THE SEASON

Recently we officially welcomed fifteen new Under 11's (born in 2013) as they signed their first registration with the club.
Congratulations go to Adam McFayden (Maryfield Utd), Leo Carey (Milton FC), Alfie Burton (Spartans), Lewis Westwood (DUSC), Lewis Hope (Fair City), Quinn Murphy (Maryfield Utd), Mason Small, Murray Tufft (Blue Brazil), Noah Fyffe (Blue Brazil), Harrison McCann (Broughty Utd), Charlie McKenzie (Monifieth Athletic), Jamie McCabe (Scone Thistle), Joey Blyth (Luncarty), Kye Wright (Gairdoch) and Tom Graham (Arbroath Lads)
The event brought the youngsters into Tannadice for some very special photo opportunities. Every player was accompanied by their parents, siblings and grassroots coaches to experience signing in the board room and receiving a commemorative Dundee United shirt with their name and year of signing on the back.
Pre Academy Manager Scott Madden said: "Our 2013 signing night was an opportunity for us to inspire our young players and thank them, their parents and grassroots coaches for their commitment and support during their time within our Pre Academy. My role as Pre Academy Manager is to provide experiences for these players that they will remember and tonight was one of those nights. To have someone like Archie Meekison here, a player who has been on the same journey as these boys are about to go on, was so inspiring for the young players.
"This has been the culmination of lots of hard work across the academy through our recruitment team, coaching staff, players, parents and their grassroots coaches."
Academy Director Paul Cowie added: "What an excellent event organised by Scott Madden. The stadium signing night is to celebrate the achievement of our 2013 players, and I'm sure it was a proud moment for all their families to see their son joining the Dundee United FC Academy for the 2023 Season.
"It is also an opportunity to thank all the grassroots coaches for their support, our recruitment team and pre-academy staff for identifying, welcoming and developing the young players into the full programme.
"We are very excited to see how their journeys progress and look forward to developing them as players and young people through our programme. I am sure having the likes of Archie Meekison in attendance tonight, who shared his journey from Pre-Academy to the First team, will inspire them all."
