Lawrence Shankland is the latest name on the International Honours Board at Tannadice after making his first two appearances for Scotland this week.

The striker came on as a half-time substitute in Moscow during Thursday night's defeat and then played the full 90 minutes and scored his first international goal in Sundays 6-0 win over San Marino.

Lawrence's goal was the first competitive goal by a Dundee United player since Billy Dodds twenty years ago in a 2-1 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina in September 1999 - although Steven Thompson scored as a United player in both the 4-0 win over a Hong Kong XI select and a 3-1 win over Canada in 2002. He also becomes the first United player to play for Scotland since Andy Robertson in 2014.

Scorer of 15 goals in 13 appearances, Shankland will look to continue his scoring form as United travel to Dumfries this Saturday to visit Queen of the South. Admission details can be found here.
