JORDAN CLELAND JOINS AS ASSISTANT FIRST-TEAM THERAPIST

27th August 2019

Dundee United have moved to secure Jordan Cleland B.Sc. who has joined the Club in the role of first-team Assistant Therapist.

Jordan will work under Head of Medical Marcin Szostak and undertake duties with the first-team players' injury and rehabilitation at the High Performance Centre at the University of St Andrews. He joins the medical team that also includes Jeff Clarke (Development squad/U18 Physio) and Club Doctors Dave Nicol and Stephen Galbraith.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Therapy and has worked at clubs including Raith Rovers, Albion Rovers and Alloa FC in the past.

Sporting Director Tony Asghar said: "We are delighted to have appointed Jordan. He will enhance the Medical Department and provide our players with another reactive therapist. Adding such an experienced member to Marcin's medical team will also allow more individual care and considered rehabilitation for injured players and will almost certainly result in players being back on the pitch quicker."
