FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

26th November 2018

This coming Friday sees Ladbrokes Championship leaders Ayr United visit Tannadice for a table-top clash under the floodlights.

The Honest Men come into this game on the back of a 3-0 victory over Beith Juniors in the Scottish Cup 3rd round last Saturday and on a run of two successive draws in the league.

United will come into this one high in confidence after last Tuesday's 4-2 win over Alloa made it 16 points from a possible 18 since Robbie Neilson came in as Manager and the Terrors currently sit three points behind Ayr and one point behind Ross County in second.

Ayr took the spoils earlier in the season at Somerset Park with a 2-0 win, but United won both home fixtures two seasons ago when both were last in the Championship together. With three points between the teams and a chance for United to go above Ross County -for 24 hours at least - this is all set to be a mouth-watering tie.

The Jerry Kerr Stand will be open for this game with United fans able to watch the action from the George Fox, Eddie Thompson and Jerry Kerr Stands. Ayr fans can watch the match from the West Stand.
