NEXT UP: LIVINGSTON AWAY

19th February 2018

United travel to the Tony Macaroni Stadium this Friday night (7.35pm) to play the Championship's form team Livingston who emphatically defeated league leaders St Mirren by four goals to one on Saturday.

That result meant that Livingston went three points clear of United in second place - although the Lions have played two games more than the Tangerines. The result also opens up a tantalising slither of light for both teams when they look towards St Mirren at the top.

United come into this one after another free Saturday - thanks to Dumbarton's involvement in the Irn-Bru Cup semi-final on Saturday and looking for their first win in the league since the resounding 4-1 victory over Brechin on January 2.

With the likes of Scobbie and Edjenguele returning to training in recent times and the January acquisitions more familiar with team-mates, the hope is that United can now go on a run in the remaining fourteen games and produce something special for the fans.

Admission on Friday night is by cash at the turnstiles and prices are as follows:

£20 - Adults

£12 - Concession (Under-16s & Over-65s)

£5 - Under 12s

The match is live on BBC Alba, which is the reason for the slightly unusual 7.35pm kick off time, and the Hegarty Suite will be open from 6pm for fans who wish to come along and watch the game with fellow Arabs. The event, sponsored by Nicholl's Bakery, will have free pies available at halftime. There will be more details on this event in the coming days.
