TERRORS V BAIRNS PREVIEW

8th April 2017

United welcome Falkirk to Tannadice this afternoon in a compelling Ladbrokes Championship fixture. Both sides have their sights set on promotion and finishing as high as possible in the table. The Bairns currently sit four points ahead of United with the Tangerines having a game in hand so today may well prove pivotal for the final standings. United come into the game determined to make up for last week’s poor performance and result at Palmerston where they went down 4-2 to Queen of the South. Still missing for United are long-term injuries Sean Dillon and Scott Fraser and late calls will be made on Cammy Bell, Willo Flood and Thomas Mikkelsen who are all carrying injuries. Manager Ray McKinnon was in battle mode as he spoke to the media this week and revealed that young midfielder Scott Allardice is in his thoughts for a debut. Peter Houston’s men recorded a crucial 1-0 victory over Raith Rovers at the Falkirk Stadium last weekend and will see today’s game as a massive opportunity to stake claim to second in the table. Ex-United man Lee Miller has been in good form for Falkirk recently. United go into this match with an excellent home record, and they will be keen to extend that until the end of the season. The referee for tomorrow’s match is Euan Anderson; his assistants are David Doig and Stuart Hodge. If you are attending the event, ticket information is available here. If you cannot take the game, you can listen to the action on ArabZONE if you are a member. If you are abroad and fancy watching the action live, our WATCH LIVE function is available for only £8.00. Full minute-by-minute updates from team news at 2pm will be available via @dufclive on twitter or here. With two home games in four days and six points up for grabs, United could find themselves second in the table come Tuesday night. The support of a large and loud Tangerine Army would go a long way to helping achieve that. Come along to Tannadice.
