United in Memories Re-Opens

The second United in Memories display, situated on level one of the main reception at Tannadice officially opened on Saturday. It was particularly fitting that Barca beaters Lennert Wing and Billy Hainey alongside family members of Dennis Gillespie, Doug Smith and Jerry Kerr were in attendance to open the display featuring fifty years of European adventures for United. The first exhibit over the summer received hundreds of visitors and such was the success that the museum area is extended to encompass more memorabilia for future displays. The Dundee United Business Club organise the afternoon events and the first opportunity for the general public to come along and admire the memorabilia is on Wednesday, 2 November from 1pm  until 4 pm with free entry via the main door in Tannadice Street. Tom Cairns, Peter McBride and Ben Nicholson will be on hand to chat about the items on display. With some truly unique items on display, this is a must for all United supporters.
