It is with great sadness that Dundee United announces the death of Mrs Violet Fox, the widow of the late George Fox, former Chairman of the Club. The funeral took place today in Carnoustie and was attended by representatives of Dundee United.
Mrs Fox was a well known and regular spectator at Dundee United matches, with a formal connection dating back to 1955 when her husband was appointed to the board.
There remains a strong family connection to this day, with son in law Gibby Haggart a member of the current Dundee United board.
