VOUCHER SCHEME BRINGS £5 XMAS BONUS

11th December 2003

Dundee United fans who attend this weekend’s game against Livingston will be given an early Christmas present of a £5 voucher, which can be used against the price of entry into the game against Partick Thistle on 20th December 2003. The voucher will be issued to fans who pay cash at the turnstiles and to all season ticket holders. Cash-paying fans can use the voucher to obtain a £5 discount off the normal price, resulting in adults paying as little as £11 for the game against Thistle. Senior Citizens will be able to gain admission for as little as £4 with the voucher. Season ticket holders who attend the Livingston game will also be issued with a voucher which they can give to family or friends to use at the Thistle game. Eddie Thompson, Chairman of Dundee United said, "At this time of year we have to compete with, among other things, Christmas shopping. Therefore, by offering this discount voucher I hope that we can attract additional supporters as we go into two very important games. The backing of our fans is hugely important and I hope they make full use of this early Christmas present to give their full support to the team.”
