UNITED'S DAY RETURN TO TRAINING

3rd July 2003

The Dundee United first team squad were back at Tannadice Park for training today. Manager Ian McCall was pleased with the first day of pre-season preparations and commented: "Training went very well. The players have kept themselves in good condition over the summer, they all came back reasonably fit and I was absolutely delighted. The international players who played at the end of the season will be back on Monday,so by the start of next week we will have the full squad, possibly including another couple of signings in at Tannadice."

It was also confirmed today that the Club's first pre-season match with Queen's Park on 12th July 2003 will be a closed door game.

Meanwhile, season ticket sales are progressing at a rapid rate, currently 51% up on the same period last season, and this evening the Club's ticket office and telephone hotline (01382) 833166 will be open for season ticket sales until 7.00pm.
