UNITED TRAVEL TO IBROX

14th December 2002

Mark Wilson (pictured), the Bank of Scotland Young Player for November, will be hoping to make another major contribution to the United cause this afternoon when the Tangerines travel west to take on league leaders Rangers. Mark scored his first goal for United last Saturday against Hibernian at Tannadice and will be hoping to repeat the feat on his first visit to Ibrox as a top team regular. With a doubt over Jim Lauchlan due to injury, eighteen year old Wilson, who was called up to the Scotland Under 21 squad this week, may form the central defensive partnership with David McCracken. Danny Griffin remains out as he recovers from a back injury.

Kick off is at 3pm and admission is by ticket only.
