MILLER AND THOMPSON FIT FOR DENS DERBY

22nd November 2002

One day ahead of the second derby of the 2002-2003 campaign, Manager Paul Hegarty was geared up for the challenge ahead: "Like everyone else, we are very excited about this fixture and, for me, it is my first derby as Manager of Dundee United. We know it is going to be a very tough and difficult encounter but we are hopeful to continue our recent good run of results. We also have some good news on the injury front: Steven Thompson and Charlie Miller are back on track after injury. They have trained yesterday and today and are ready to start. We are all tremendously looking forward to the match. It is natural and good that this fixture attracts so much media attention and is anticipated with so much excitement by the fans. And whilst our players will bring all their passion and commitment to the match, they know of the vital importance to stay focused and clear in their minds throughout the whole 90 minutes."

The Ticket Office and Souvenir Shop confirmed today that the Club's allocation of over 4,000 tickets is completely sold out; there are no more United end tickets available.
