United lost out to Celtic this afternoon by two goals to nil in a match where the Tangerines were always in with a chance of taking something from the game up until the last few minutes.
Paul Hegarty, in his first match as full United manager, brought back Jim Lauchlan to strengthen the rearguard with Jim Hamilton dropping to the bench from last week's starting eleven. Also in from the start was Jim Paterson with Stuart Duff also dropping to the bench.
United lined up as follows: GALLACHER, MCCUNNIE, LAUCHLAN, EASTON
